Cannabis and Seniors - A Kinder Option

The fastest growing demographic of cannabis users in North America is seniors. The increasing interest in cannabis stems from the desire of many seniors to reduce the amount of pharmaceutical medications they take, in order to feel clearer and experience less side effects when treating various conditions.

In this course, we will be examining a number of health conditions - specific to seniors - that cannabis has been helpful in addressing. In addition, there is a great deal of stigma that seniors have been exposed to over the decades, and this course will help to address many of these falsehoods that were spread at a time when cannabis was under attack by governments in their misguided "war on drugs".
